It’s Now or Never

I’ve achieved most of my bucket list. There’s only one item left:
Write and publish a book.

I brushed this goal aside time and time again, hoping to tackle it after graduating college…which officially happened yesterday.

But to be honest, I don’t know if I have it in me.

I promised a good author friend of mine that, once I’m finished with school, I’d launch a blog and make an honest go of completing a novel. He thinks I have potential and really wants me to succeed. I’m thankful to have such a friend.

The tough nut to crack is lacking the motivation to persevere. I tend to get distracted and make excuses when it comes to writing.

This moment is a big step for me. I can’t stop thinking, “It’s now or never.” And with college out of the way, there are no more excuses.
