We Need To Stop Lying

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. So many things have happened, it’s hard to keep up.

I’m sure you’re at least aware of the political upheaval in Great Britain under the banner of St. George’s cross and the Union Jack. It was a protest against illegal immigration. And millions showed up.

But did you know several Canadian provinces united in a #Wexit movement, declaring their independence from Ottawa, have signed a pipeline deal, and that the U.S. officially recognized their sovereignty?

If they fall short of forming their own country, their backup plan is to join the United States itself.

And did you know Zoomers overthrew Nepal and burned some of their leaders to death, under a One-Piece banner?

Did you know these Zoomers held elections for their new leaders on Discord? Yes, Discord.

Here’s a few of their leaders escaping the burning parliament building, like a scene straight out of DuckTales:

One of them even left his disabled wife behind.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I normally don’t care much about current events, but right now, things are different. There’s change in the air.

The other day, someone restacked a quote from one of my articles:

Someone out there doesn’t want authors to write what’s in their hearts. They want them to write social commentary instead, using their identity as ammo. And whoever this someone is, they’re willing to go so far as to erase history itself, in order to gaslight entire generations.”

-from How Feminists Gaslit Women in the Writing Industry.

The restacker’s conceit was that, because I don’t know who this “someone” is, the feminist takeover is merely a conspiracy theory; It never actually happened.

By her logic, if your house were robbed and you didn’t know who did it, your house didn’t actually get robbed.

Well, what this reader doesn’t realize is: I have more receipts.

But today’s post isn’t about that. It’s about how sacred the truth is, especially given recent events.

I’ve spoken many times about how one should always write in service of the truth. And I’ve spoken about Natural Law, which are the immutable laws of our universe. Arguably, the laws established by God Himself.

For example, I can state that the sky is blue, or that there is sunlight during the day and it’s darker at night, and I’d be in harmony with Natural Law. I’ve stated an objective truth, even if there are sometimes exceptions to the rule.

If I were to say it’s dark during the day and there’s sunlight at night, it wouldn’t sound quite right to society, not even to our dear Alaskans.

The more a statement conforms to reality, the more objectively true it is. For example, if I were to say, “I am sitting at my computer right now,” that statement conforms perfectly with reality. But even reality can be challenged by Solipsism.

If pop culture wanted badly enough to convince people that day was night and night was day, they could simply repeat the lie often enough until it became the “truth”. They can start by pointing out exceptions to the rule. They could further announce that scientists have made new “startling” discoveries. They could print lies in textbooks. They could lie by omission. They could change dictionary definitions.

And by the time adults discover their children have been indoctrinated, it’s already too late.

Such a thing might sound preposterous, but I’ve lived long enough to have witnessed preposterous lies become the “truth” over and over again, so I’d put nothing past them at this point, not even something as fundamental as night and day.

The Sea of Lies

Make no mistake, people have been misled, drifting away from what is true through lies and rhetoric, what is good through moral relativism, and what is beautiful by convincing people that ugly is beautiful.

But a society can only stay adrift in the sea of lies for so long before it floats ashore.

That’s the beauty of Natural Law: It may take time, but common sense will eventually prevail.

Immutable truths are observable and consistent, while lies require funding and support to keep them alive. Lies require agitators, rhetoric to avoid answering straightforward questions. They require coordination between institutions. They require misdirection and emotional manipulation. They require propaganda and protestors. They require a large number of willing “useful idiots” to repeat the lies.

There’s a reason it’s called “Operation Mockingbird.”

And these lies must remain a “part of the conversation”, or they fall to the wayside. It’s not easy to convince an entire generation of a lie. But they somehow succeed, over and over again.

And the result of these lies is division, hatred, and violence. Because drifting away from the truth drains our lives of meaning.

According to Natural Law and human nature itself, society should be able to, for example, condemn a church shooting. We should abhor an innocent woman getting stabbed to death on a bus. We should all feel it a tragedy when dead children are pulled from a flood.

Because Natural Law favors life – procreation, and longevity. It always has. Any policy or belief that condones death goes against Natural Law itself.

However, Natural Law has a strong sense of justice, especially if it’s pushed hard enough.

There’s a rubber band effect: The further away we get from Natural Law, the harder reality snaps back. I think the absolutely demonic reactions we’ve seen in the past several days–especially in reaction to a young family too soon losing their father–is proof enough of that.

As a result, many people have been brought back to the Truth. People who, fortunately, still have full custody of their souls.

Those who weren’t able to wake up, even in the face of all that’s been happening, need our prayers the most.

My Truth

If society can’t agree on what is objective truth, they end up with #MyTruth. If a society that has embraced moral relativism decides to trust everyone to do what they want, they end up with, “You do you, boo.”

“What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have.[…]

We all have lived too many years in a culture broken by brutally powerful men. For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men. But their time is up.

THEIR TIME IS UP!

Your time is up.”

Oprah Winfrey at the 2018 Golden Globes, the acceptance speech that popularized the #MyTruth movement.

For just over nine minutes, Oprah delivered an impassioned speech about her own perceived victimhood, made her receiving the Cecil B. deMille Award both a sexism and racism issue, claimed we were under “tyrannical” rule, claimed “we all know the press is under siege these days”, claimed to “value the press more than ever before”, implied everyone should abandon religion to embrace moral relativism, and then…she received a standing ovation.

Oprah knew exactly what she was doing.

You see, when everyone has their own subjective truth, there’s no such thing as objective truth anymore. There’s just my truth, and your truth. It’s a Chaotician’s dream come true. The press is “valuable” in that it can continue to nurture the seeds of chaos she knowingly planted.

It is considered to be one of the greatest speeches of all time, and yet was built upon the core Luciferian tenant: “Do as thou wilt is the whole of the law.

Everyone who applauded from home, or cried because the speech was so moving, was a useful idiot.

And this is why the Libertarian movement has recently fallen from grace. Their core tenant requires a social contract to work, a social contract that no longer exists.

Dividing by Zero

If someone tells you to go do whatever you want–so long as it’s “behind closed doors”–it sows division. It’s toleration, which is another way of saying we can no longer walk, talk, or live together, and gives the worst of us free license.

Evil done in the shadows festers. Then, one day, it can’t stay behind closed doors anymore and bursts onto the streets, causing even more division and hate.

For objective truthers, morality doesn’t change with the whims of Current Year. It is observable. It is natural. It doesn’t require a narrative to stay alive.

That’s why “popular” movies and books aren’t fun anymore. They are so loaded down with #MyTruth that they no longer resonate with the general public, which itself is hopelessly divided. By sex, by race, by culture, by subculture.

The tension between #MyTruth and #YourTruth means that #YourTruth is objectively false to everyone who doesn’t toe the line with you precisely enough. It creates tribalism.

And that means words are suddenly violence. Because if someone is saying something that doesn’t agree with #MyTruth, it’s morally wrong, and it’s now my job, morally, to correct that wrong. The only options one has is ignoring them or shutting them up. Because debating is pointless when truth is relative.

Shutting someone up can come in many forms such as muting, deplatforming, or, as we so recently saw, murder.

A precious few of us still believe in open discussion in a public forum. It shouldn’t be surprising that those who do are typically objective in their research. They pay attention to what is, and what isn’t.

If one were to take an unbiased and objective look at the list of claims floating around about what beliefs Charlie Kirk allegedly held, one will find that important context was left out every time.

Another example, there’s a statistical study making the rounds on social media from the ADL regarding the frequency of Left Wing vs. Right Wing violence, which, it turns out, casts Middle-Eastern and Hispanic people as “White” and casts gang members as “Conservative” to get the results they wound up with.

A student of Subjective Truth will believe whatever supports their worldview no matter what counter-facts may come to light, whereas a student of Objective Truth will look into the sources of that evidence, especially if it doesn’t sound like it aligns with Natural Law.

Woody and Buzz were like that. Buzz got indoctrinated in the academy to believe he’s something he’s not. Woody’s sometimes arrogant about it, but he speaks the truth.

“You. Are. A. Toy.”

And speaking the truth even turned all his friends against him.

But eventually, reality caught up with Buzz. And through conversation–and the wisdom that comes from life experience–they worked through their differences and became best friends.

So what do you do if you’re impressionable and don’t realize it? And everyone’s telling you that you’re dealing with Hitler? With Nazis? What do you do if you don’t realize all the opposing viewpoints have been banned and cancel-cultured away, and you’re living in an echo chamber?

Well, if that’s you, if you believe you’re living in a time of literal Nazis, you have a moral obligation to oppose the Third Reich and assassinate Hitler himself.

And if someone is speaking words that opposes your own subjective truth, especially something you feel is important or have been told is important, or even feel it’s spiritual, and you can’t defeat him in debate, then he’s doing violence with his words.

And if you can’t defeat him at the ballot box or the public forum, the answer, at that point, is might makes right. We’ve seen this many times with Charlie Kirk, where angry, muscle-bound men challenged Kirk to a fist fight. But he was a pacifist. Since that didn’t work, someone brought a gun.

Someone brought a gun.

The only other alternative is ignoring each other, something that even sows division among families that once loved each other. Even Tyler Robinson‘s family. You go live your life … and we won’t talk anymore.

Do you get it now? Do you see your own child in this photo?

But, no matter what choice is made, the endgame of subjective truth and majority rule is always racial or class genocide.

Living through these times, if one were to look at it objectively, it’s easy to see how the Germans could have been misled during WW2. It’s easy to see how people could have cheered on the crucifixion of Christ.

It’s easy to see why history keeps repeating itself. Especially if we erase history. Especially as we lie by omission in our textbooks, redefine our language, and rewrite nature itself.

But killing someone doesn’t mean you’ve won the argument. It means you’ve lost.

Natural Law has a funny way of restoring balance by turning signs of defeat into symbols of victory. The greatest example is Christ’s crucifixion, which was supposed to be Satan’s greatest victory, yet became the very instrument of his defeat.

To function as a society, we need common ground to stand on. We once agreed that every human being has the inalienable right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. That people who break the law should be held accountable, no matter their station. That people who come into a country should want to be there.

Once upon a time, We The People agreed on something. We once understood that Objective Truth existed, and that it was worth striving for.

The Sea of Misinformation

Perhaps you feel lost. And I get it. A lot of misinformation flooded social media following the shooting.

For example, there were rumors Kirk’s family was present during the shooting, and that one of his daughters was frightened by the sound of gunfire and ran toward her father. That information is not confirmed, and is likely false.

There was this malicious photo manipulation, to help sell the narrative that the shooter was a Trump supporter:

If you think these are new games, you are wrong. Photo manipulations have become accepted as “facts” in many news stories over the years, even before social media was big. Sometimes the general public gets played by the Pied Piper.

The officials that took Robinson into custody claimed they “caught him”, when in actuality he was convinced to turn himself in. So we even have the authorities lying to us, to a certain extent.

Even the information about him turning himself in was confused:

At first, we were told his father turned him in. Then, we were told he confessed it to a Mormon priest who called the authorities behind his father’s back.

Later, we learned it was actually his mother who recognized her son in the surveillance photos and reached out to him, and then had a conversation with her husband. The husband agreed it was their son and recognized the rifle, which belonged to Tyler’s grandfather.

The husband reached out to Tyler, at first asking for photos on the rifle, and then to convince him to come home and talk things over with a retired deputy*, a friend of the family’s. Together, they somehow convinced Tyler to turn himself in, along with the evidence that hadn’t already been tampered with.

*(Not Washington County’s–The Washington County’s former deputy has been harassed has received death threats due to more misinformation and jumping to conclusions, and has had to move out of his house for fear of his own safety.)

But I think the closest we’ll get to the truth comes from the testimonies of those who were there, and what we learn in court appearances.

If you’d like to separate more fact from fiction, this video may help:

Once you watch it, you’ll find there’s still a lot of false information being disseminated on social media. But you’ll at least be closer to the objective truth, tethered to the shore, able to navigate the information better than those who are still adrift in this stormy sea of lies.

And this is how you should approach all news. Don’t jump to conclusions. Don’t trust talking heads. Leave your bias at the door and do your own research. Use Objective Truth as your compass. Because the misinformation storm is only going to get worse as AI continues to improve.

Nature is Healing

Storytellers, influencers, artists of all kinds, you know what your job is. Let’s not be afraid to speak the truth. It’s tantamount we don’t write #MyTruth in our works without acknowledging that Natural Law also exists. Let it serve as a counterbalance against the madness of this fallen world. Let objective truth be our Northern Star.

I personally believe that freedom of speech was assassinated on 9/10/2025. And I believe its apparent defeat became an instrument of victory. It was a tragedy, but it revealed the dark nature of liars for all to see. It shined a light upon those who were doing whatever they wanted in the darkness. It became a beacon, a wake-up call. A stirring of the soul.

And if you were one of the many people who returned to church after decades of being adrift, welcome home.
